My feelings about the AIG nonsense are summed up pretty well by today's xkcd.

Omgz millions! Who cares?! Try billions. And show me some acountability!

On an entirely random note, it may be the time of year where I reread His Dark Materials trilogy by Phil Pullman. I need some inspiration, and that series is where the title of my journal comes from.

Where did you go to get the corset Jacket was talking about that you got fitted to you and everything and it only cost around $300?

Seventh Goddess, now located in Nob Hill. They had a partnership of sorts with a local corset-maker who does fittings and custom work for reasonable prices. I think mine was $450(maybe). If you google them they have a website- could email them and see if they still work with her or have her contact info. She is insanely cool and I <3 my corset.
