NYC is great. The water is quite drinkable.
Last night we trekked downtown to go to a happy hour. It was lame and loud, so we trekked further to eat at a Ramen Bar in the East Village. I wore completely inappropriate shoes for the endeavor and ended up with welts on my feet. The ramen wasn't great, but the ambiance was nifty. We saw more oddly-dressed folks than we usually see in Morningside, which I enjoyed.
It has been raining almost non-stop for about a month now. We get like 1 day of sunshine a week. I am bored with it. Please stop raining?
