tonsils, or a lack thereof
Jun. 3rd, 2006 01:26 pmI got back in to Socorro at approximately 2:15 am last night. I no longer have tonsils, as they were removed on Wednesday. It was my first surgery, and I was more than a little terrified. Because my tonsils were especially large, the doctor said it may take me longer than normal to recover. That grooves with how I'm feeling right now- like hell.
Also, when the Ear, Nose, and Throat doctor was poking around my tonsils, he noticed I have a lump on my thyroid. Thus, I'll be heading back to LC in a couple of weeks for my follow up inspection (from the surgery) and a biopsy on my thyroid.
I'm going back to sleep now.
