Tip 1. When giving a lecture on an article from a scientific journal, do not read directly from the paper! Even if you suck at speaking off the fly, it is less boring than watching you prove you can read.

Tip 2. Omgz. Don't read from the paper.

Tips 1 and 2 are the same, but some people don't get concepts in just one tip. Not anyone who reads my journal, of course (kiss kiss), but I'm just venting frustration. ;)
