I sometimes feel guilty for not knowing Spanish. Of course, the only way to rectify that is to either learn Spanish, or not feel guilty. I'm torn between the two. When I was younger I tended to scorn most aspects of the hispanic side of my lineage (the religion, machismo, etc). Now, though, I can appreciate some of it, at least from an artistic point of view, or the point of view of the money I get from minority scholarships (which is crass, I realize). Thus, I sometimes feel vaguely guilty about not knowing more about one of the cultures I came from.
