Have arrived in Socorro safely!

Car: I was surprised at the ability of the VW service guys to be done at the time they said they would be done. I was told "We should be done at 2" and they called at 1:45 to say "Done!" Unfortunately, they don't have the spoiler (?- front plastic thingie under bumper) in stock, and had to order one, which means I'll be back in Albuquerque next week to get it replaced. Yeah high mileage!

Shopping: I also bought some neato stuff; for instance, a swag desk calendar and rolodex. I also got some wicked sick clothes, and there was even a find of the day: very pretty pink and black billowy shirt of doom.

People: Had a great time at dinner; woot for tasty nachos and tastier people *wink wink*.

"Expensive plastic bits" is generally descriptive enough.

Then again, my car isn't as sporty as either yours or hers, so I need less-specific terms :)

Mrrrmmm... the guy at the shop called it a "spoiler" even though I've only ever heard "spoilers" as back plastic wing things. So... yeah. "Expensive plastic bits" works for me too. :)
